The Smashing Pumpkins posted three separate post on Facebook that they will be doing some warm up shows at pretty small venues (don’t expect to see the orb at any of these shows), starting Sept 27th in Austin, TX at Stubb’s, 28th in Tulsa OK at Cain’s Ballroom and then on the 30th in Milwaukee, WI at Riverside Theatre. Tickets for these three shows go on sale on Friday, but links are currently unavailable.
UPDATE: The Milwaukee show tickets will be $45 and has a pre-sale scheduled for Thursday at noon local time. The password is BILLY. In the description the details of the show read: “An up close evening of songs from their new album “Oceania” + classic Pumpkins tunes and deeper cuts from their career spanning over 20 years.”
The Tulsa show tickets are price range after fees from $51-63. There will be a pre-sale for this event for 5th at 10am CST to the 6th 10pm CST the password is TEARGARDEN. Also if you “RSVP” on Facebook you may win two tickets.
The Austin ticket prices are $45-47 and go on sale on Friday at 10am. A pre-sale is set for Thursday at 10am. Password is OCEANIAATX.
